On August 17, 2024, the Anglican Young People's Association and Mothers' Union jointly hosted a one-day seminar on "Christian Marriage and Safe & Security" at Bishopscourt. The seminar, which took place from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, attracted 40 youths who attended in person, while 8 others participated online.
The event began with a warm welcome, followed by breakfast, setting a positive tone for the day. The seminar featured two key sessions: a Bible study led by Sayama Snow Hnin Hnin Aye, and an informative discussion on Christian marriage law presented by Sayama Tin Tin Yi. Both sessions provided valuable insights into the spiritual and legal aspects of Christian marriage, emphasizing the importance of safety and security within the family unit.
Participants engaged actively in the discussions, with many expressing appreciation for the opportunity to learn and reflect on these crucial topics. The seminar concluded with a lunch, offering further time for fellowship and community building.
